Welcome to Material Retail Dumps, episode 40. In this episode, we're gonna talk about Chachi bt, what it is, how to use it, and five ways to use Chachi BT in your retail and e-commerce business. Let's jump in. So what is Chachi BT pt? If you haven't heard about chat BT yet, I recommend getting your news elsewhere. If you have heard of chat gp, pt, great.

But basically Chat PT is a tool, an artificial intelligence tool that you can type questions to and Chachi PT will answer you. It can do things like answer basic questions instead of a search engine. It can write blog articles for you. It can do basically anything you want it to do when it comes to looking up information and writing stuff and you can really talk to it like a human. Imagine you're talking to an expert in all things and you can type back and forth with that expert and that's basically what chat sheet BT is. Um, so how do you access chat sheet? Bt it's super easy. You can go on Google, type in chat sheet BT by OpenAI. Make sure you are using the one by OpenAI and not a copycat or someone who's gonna charge you to use it. It's totally free. You can go to chat.open ai.com to go directly there.

You log in. Um, there's two versions of chat gpt. There's three version of chat gpt, which is totally free, and then there's GPT four, which has some added features. GT four I think is 20 bucks a month. Um, you definitely don't need to pay for it, but if you find yourself using chat G p T every day, it's probably worth it for you to pay for that, uh, premium subscription. So let's go over five ways you can use chat gp t in your retail and e-commerce business. So the first way you can use chat t in your retail and eCommerce business is to create subject lines and copy for email and web banners. So if you were to go to Chachi BT and type in, can you please give me five subject lines for an email about new clothing that I have in my store for under 50 bucks?

And you send that to Chachi BT within seconds it's gonna send you back five options for subject lines that you can use and most of 'em will be pretty good. You could just pick one of the five or you could pick one of the five and then edit it a little bit. And you could do the same thing for email and web banner copy. You know how you, when you go on a website or when you send out an email inside the banner of the email or on the website, it has a little two to three word thing like, you know, spring has sprung Shop Now or new summer dresses, something like that. So you can ask chat gpt that same question. Hey, I need some copy for a web banner, uh, for new summer dresses. Can you gimme a few, you know, three word pieces of copy and it'll come back and give you that copy.

And it's really, really great to just cut down on the amount of time and effort it takes to do these tasks that nobody really loves doing. Um, you know, sometimes you sit down to do this and the hardest part is just getting through that mind block of putting together a subject line. And this just cuts right through that mind block. It'll take, you know, 30 to 60 seconds instead of the maybe few hours it takes because you start procrastinating. Uh, the second thing we can use Chachi PT for in our retail and e-commerce business is product descriptions. So nobody likes writing product descriptions. It gets very repetitive at certain points. Um, but you can ask Chachi PT to write product descriptions for you. A good prompt to put into Chachi PT for product descriptions is can you write me a 50 word product description for a white long sleeve summer dress that is a little bit see-through from the brand shops.

It will then spit you back a 50 word description of that item and then you can ask it to edit it if you want. If you don't like it the way it sounds or something, you can say, Hey, make this description a little more playful. I want you to target the description towards a younger audience or an older audience or something like that. The third thing we can use chat sheet PT for is to write emails to our, let's say landlords or vendors or software providers, um, to ask for things. Um, the obvious example that I have to give is to ask for money off. So let's say we're having a bad few months and we need a break on the rent. We can ask Chachi PT to write an email to our landlord and you can just put a prompt in, Hey Chachi pt, I'm having a rough few months in business and can you write an email to my landlord saying that business is really slow and I need a little break on my rent for a few few months?

And chat, BT will write you a beautiful email that you can send to your landlord. Obviously read it, make sure it looks good, make sure it sounds right, and then a test that might've taken a few hours might've taken you a lot of courage to come and and figure out what to write. Uh, chat PT just does it for you and you just go from there. And then worst case scenario, landlord says no or you person who asked for a discount for says no and you don't lose anything. You didn't even lose so much time. The third thing that you can use chat gpt for in your business, mainly on your website is you can start a blog. So a lot of customers like reading blogs, people are on their phones all the time, in the computer all the time and it's just, you know, having a blog on your website will add a little bit extra to your website, something else that customers can kind of interact with.

And also another way for customers to maybe discover your website cuz you have all this great content in your website. So you can just go on Chachi PT and say, Hey, can you write me a 1500 word blog article on the best summer fashion? And you can ask it to be inspired by European fashion. And then Chachi PT will write you that 1500 word blog article and you can either copy it and edit it yourself or you can ask it to edit itself until you get what you want. So literally turn, you know, a few hour task at least, you know, it's gotta take a few hours to write a good blog article into, you know, 20, 30 minutes of time at the most, um, where you can just come in, read what it wrote, you edit it and move on. 15 that you can use chat gpt for in your retail business or really in any business is to write job descriptions and job postings. You know, you need to find someone for the summer, part-time worker, you're looking for someone to work weekends at a

Certain price. You can just tell that to Chachi BT in, you know, 20 words and Chachi BT will turn that into a beautiful long, well-written job post and job description. Take that and you post it on job board, post it on your social media, post it in your local magazine, put it on your store window, um, and you'll be good to go. I said anything in Chachi, bt you get from it what you give to it. So be descriptive with your requests. Ask for edits, ask it to have certain tones, target certain people, you'll really get good results. Um, the main thing we're looking for is really a lot of time savings. Time savings is great.
